Hayye A1s!! Guess what? I CAN FINALLY POST ON THE BLOG! (thanks april ^^) So anyway, here are the updates:
Choir PracticesTuesdays: Seminar Room 3.00pm
Thurdays: MPR 3.30pm
Choir FundYou have to pay $2 at the end of every month to the Choir fund on the last Tuesday practice of the month.
Choir NotebookPlease make sure you jot down everything that we did for that practice, including notes on songs, what Mrs Lim said, and information on practices and performances. Please remember to bring your notebook and file and stationery, cause there will be random spot-checks and those who didn't bring will have to do punishment on the spot! (planks ahem planks)
Duty RosterIf our section is on duty for that month, everyone has to stay back until lights and air cons are turned off, and the floor is swept (if need be). Failure to do so will result in punishment! (planks ahem planks)
National AnthemReporting time is now 7.15am. Due to the lack of space, Sec 3s DO NOT have to sing anymore, and the Sec 1s and 2s will represent our choir in singing the country's song! (and the school's) So make sure you be there on time.
Choir Rule BookThe Choir Rule Book has been officially changed to.... the CHOIR ETIQUETTE BOOK! In order not to make it sound so harsh. Remember to abide by the rules in our dear Etiquette Book. One more thing, you're not allowed to use handphones during choir practices unless if there's an emergency, so anyone caught using their handphone during practice time will have their handphones consficated. So, um, don't. Oh, and please make sure you turn up on time for practices. Or else...................................................................................................................

(muahaha april.)
So that's about all, remember to practise your Virita Criosa and Ant's Summer. For Virita Criosa, take note of the beating (cause yeah, it gets weirder and weirder.) We are generally beating in crotchets, but for some parts, eg. bar 40 to 48, its easier to beat in quavers. And remember to take note of the solfege, like in bar 86 to 87 when we change from the "Ah...." to "vi ri ta" its from la to mi and in bar 60 when changing from "Va" to "mi" its from re to la. We are generally singing the same (most of it) parts as A2, so listen out for them and try to get your note from them too.
LASTLY, there will be practice this thursday from 11am to 2pm!
OKIE BYEBYE.
