Dear A1s,

Please take note of the dates we have sectionals. It is important that you guys turn up for sectionals because there are A LOT of songs to learn and we only have so little time. I will try to make a piano recording for every song that we do so you guys make the effort to come for sectionals and be good ok? I know it is very tiring but we really do suck hence we need the extra practices and I just need your co-operation, so please co-operate with us and not give us any trouble. (gosh, do you have any idea how tiring it is to have the President of choir complain to us about your behavior?!)

Anyway there is a slight change to the dates. I will post it up on yahoo group just to make sure that everyone knows about them and cannot give the excuse they don't know or whatsoever. Just to make sure that everyone gets the dates, I will also be sending an sms to everyone so now you really cannot give the excuse that you did not know about it because I told you already.

IMPORTANT

5th Nov, Thursday- 12.30-3.30(don't worry you will get a break but that is only if you guys perform according to our standards. But just have lunch before you come.) We will be combining with the Sop 2s for this sectionals and we will be doing A Choral Flourish, White Horses, Da Hai bla bla, Why we sing. Now, the last two songs mentioned are really really very easy. Recording for why we sing is already up so there is no way you don't know how to sing the song. I will be putting up the recording for the chinese song by the weekend.

6th Nov, Friday- 11.30-1pm(THIS IS NOT CONFIRMED BUT KEEP YOUR MORNINGS FREE JUST IN CASE. I know some of you have lessons- so do I, but for those who don't, just keep your morning free.)

9th Nov, Monday- 12.30-2pm I will most probably be doing Alleluia, Joiku and God help me, Dui Dui. Sec ones, I know you guys haven't learn all these songs yet so... er, just go online and search for the songs on YT and see how it sounds like ok? Ok, this sectional is VERY important because did I mention we need to perfect uh, let's see, SIX songs by the next day?! (namely: choral flourish, alleluia, joiku, dui dui, da hai and why we sing) The consequences of not being able to is..... well, probably Juniper taking over sectionals(trust me, you rather have Grace and me than Juniper. We are nicer :) ) Which means we won't actually end at 2, but that is just the tentative time.

30th Nov, Monday- 10-1pm I doubt I have lessons anymore so we can have sectionals all the way from morning till evening. Just kidding. Unless you guys are really really really really bad. Which I believe NOT, seeing as most of you know ALL the songs. I will be working on songs like Kalinka, You raised me up and Dui Dui and Alleluia

10th Dec, Wed- 10-1pm. Now, seeing as we are only TWO days away from performance day, we really need to work on ALL the songs. So this will be a tiring and long sectionals... and I will probably buy something(not chocolate because they harm your throats and make you lose your voices!) to keep you guys going.


So much to do so little time!! Better prepare yourselves for the tiring weeks ahead of us!
