To cut the long story short, this is just another add-ons to what Juniper lectured us. Look, if you are not going to change (and stop talking about sections being worse than us, mind yourselves first. Look at yourselves before pinpointing others.) then there is seriously nothing we can do to help, and I can tell you honestly that the seniors(meaning the sec 3s) are doing their best to try to motivate and help you to change your attidutes towards choir and (youknowwho). But ultimately, it is all up to you to change. Ok, this is going to be a looong post because I still have a lot to say and obviously there wasn't enough time for me to say because Juniper said a lot, which I believed none of you actually listen because the behaviour after that proved so. Anyway, honestly. I know that we all know that we suck, but how many of you are actually making the effort to improve your singing AND DISCIPLINE.(which is like the MOST important of all). And when I say good discipline, I don't mean JUST keeping quiet at appropriate times, but BRINGING YOUR SCORES, PRACTISING YOUR SONGS REGULARLY, DOING WHAT YOU ARE TOLD. How many of you actually went to listen to the recordings and practised? I can safely say I did. I can also safely say I memorised the three songs, including dynamics. How many of you actually did that? We are already in this stage that, if we don't help ourselves, no one will, and no one can. You HAVE got to help yourselves. Change for the better. If you don't change, no one else can change you. And I am sorry to smack this right into your faces but you guys serioulsy need a wake up call. The seniors are the main current ones supporting the entire choir. DO you know how TIRING it is to be carrying you guys? We are like the ones supporting all of you, trying our hardests and our bests, and once we are gone, I can tell you that whatever that is left of what we built up throughout the past few months, will be GONE. Honestly, I will be pretty surprised when I come back and there is still a Crez Chorale standing. THAT is how bad we are, and how weak we are. Do you want to drop into that stage until you are labled as LOUSY? Obviously not, right? And I know some of you really hate ______ but honestly, I DON'T GIVE A ______. SO STOP WHINING AND PICK UP YOURSELVES, IT HAS BEEN SIX MONTHS, FOR GOODNESS' SAKE. If life gives you lemons, you make lemonades out of it! Stop trying to fight facts that can no longer be changed. And please, Sec 2s. you all are already sec 2s. Don't you realise the sec ones are more well-behaved then you? (please keep it up, sec 1s) Don't you feel ashamed of yourselves? I cannot shout at you guys all the time, and you all know my voice is naturally soft, so I can only make myself sound fierce on this blog. Which proabably only a handful of you actually reads it, but never mind. Back to my point. Sec 2s, if sec 1s are younger than you, YET they can behave BETTER than you, why can't you have that discipline? Is it that hard to NOT talk whenever someone else is talking? IS it that hard to pay someone else your full undivided attention when she/he is talking? Is it that hard to do as you are told? Don't make me feel as if I am the only one doing this. I can see who is trying and who is not. (it is like, darn obvious) But what is the point? SO WHAT, if I try my best(which I do) It is NO USE, if I am the only doing it. Which was what I was very upset about, during SYF period. I can honestly tell you guys that I cried not because we got a silver, but because I know that WE DID NOT PUT IN OUR BEST EFFORT AS A WHOLE SECTION, MUCH LESS A CHOIR, AND IF WE DID, WE WILL DEFINITELY GET GOLD. That is what is disappointing and maddening because WE(the sec 3s and a handful of the juniors) are always working hard and trying our bests, YET there are SO MANY people who DON'T BOTHER to put in effort at all. Simple things like practising regularly no matter how damn tired you are, bringing your scores, SHOWS.

And can you imagine if the seniors don't care anymore? It will be the worst case secnario, which brings me to this: NO ONE is indispensable. YOU CAN survive without us, ONLY IF, you make the change. Please, have some conscience if not unity. Don't you feel GUILTY towards people who try so hard for the whole choir? These people, are like putting the choir before ourselves and you all don't feel guilty by wasting their efforts and breathes and time by not trying at all? seriously don't know how to motivate all of you. Why don't YOU tell me. Tell me what should we do to motivate all of you to change for the better? Tell me what should I do to instill that passion in you. Tell me what should I do so that you all will put in effort to make a change in your singing and attidutes AS A WHOLE SECTION? Seriously, tell me. You think it is fun to be in my shoes? You think I am not tired? I am. Seriously, I am very tired of all this crap. (But you realise I have never given up on the section? If I have I would have already left all of you to rot, after our SLs stepped down.) and it is not fun at all. So at least spare some thought for ME and please please please please please please please please PLEASE, change for the better! Change your singing, improve. I don't see ANY excuses for your singing to drop to this standard after ME. Change your attidutes. Change your DISCIPLINE. (PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BEHAVE)






I have said so much and I really should be compeleting my homework, but here I am, lecturing all of you. It is up to you. If you STILL refuse to change..... then all I can say is that, I will really really really be surprised if this choir is still around after we step down. (provided we have so awesome sec ones who can somehow make the choir better, which I honestly pray for it to happen). That is all I have to say. FOR NOW. If you are not going to help yourselves, no one can.
